The Cambodian Center for Regional Studies (CCRS), Nelson Mandela Centre at the Faculty of Political Science, Chualongkorn University, and Asia Pacific Centre for the Responsibility to Protect (APR2P), University of Queensland co-organized the Workshop on the Responsibility to Protect and Atrocity Prevention: Continuing Relevance Amidst Challenges and Constraints on 20-21 March 2025, at Sunway Hotel Phnom Penh.

It will also focus on its relevance to Cambodia’s historical experience and why the country remains a major hub for promoting and implementing this principle on atrocity prevention and response.
