On 20th January, our deputy director, Him Rotha took part in a panel discussion on “Laos PDR ASEAN Chairmanship of 2024: Prospects and Implication on addressing Myanmar Conflict” organized by the Veathika-IR Forum. During the discussion, Rotha shared his view on the internal dynamics in Myanmar linked with the ways forward for the Lao ASEAN Chairmanship as well as how other external actors could play some roles in the situation in Myanmar.
