The Cambodian Center for Regional Studies (CCRS) is an independent, non-partisan, non-profit think tank in Cambodia. CCRS has the vision of becoming an excellent center in Cambodia where high-quality research for public purposes can be conducted, recycled, nurtured and shepherded in a dynamic context aiming at not solely to advance the theoretical debate but solving policy problems faced by Cambodia and the region. We aspire to become a research institute that produces research and public policy support concerning topics such as international relations, political and security strategy, economics, environment, technology, social policy, and culture. We endeavor to achieve this vision through a coalition of like-minded actors to combine knowledge-based research and policy-making to impact future policy processes.
Objectives
CCRS adheres to the core principle of being an objective, constructive and independent think tank in Cambodia. CCRS has the following objectives:

- Focus on the fields of traditional security and non-tradition security such as foreign policy, politics, security, socio-economic, gender, Responsibility to Protect (R2P), environment, renewable energy, water security, digital transformation and other development trends, in the region, including Southeast Asia, the Mekong Subregion and its wider geostrategic environment.
- Enhance broader understanding of national and regional prospects and challenges in a scholarly fashion through organizing conferences, seminars, public lectures and the likes.
- Encourage open forums for free, and constructive discussions on issues of current trends and foster emerging talented thinkers among younger generations of Cambodia.
- Network among other national and regional like-minded think tanks.
